Service Description
The practice of ear candling has gained attention as a wellness technique. Some believe that ear candling has historical roots in various cultures, though its origins remain uncertain. The warmth from the process is thought by some to create a relaxing experience. Many individuals report hearing a gentle hissing sound during the session. This method is often associated with promoting relaxation and a sense of well-being. Based on years of experience at BBSJ, we provide a non-invasive and natural approach to ear care with minimal discomfort. Following the session, a powdery residue from the candle remains. Laboratory analysis indicates that approximately 10% of this residue consists of candle wax. The remaining material may include natural earwax and other substances present in the ear. The color of any earwax present may vary from person to person. Items used in the session include four hollow wax candles, a bowl, towels or paper towels, and general ear care tools. We also offer a calming atmosphere with relaxing music, dim lighting, candles, and a diffuser with a chosen essential oil or EsScent. Herbal tea or water is provided to support relaxation and hydration. Fire protection measures are in place to ensure safety for all tools and items used. Cancellation Policy
1. Deposit Terms (if applicable): Non-Refundable Deposit: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for treatment packages or memberships. This deposit secures your package or membership and is non-refundable. Rescheduling/Cancellation: If you need to reschedule, you must provide 24 hours' notice. If proper notice is not provided, the deposit may be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required for future bookings. Deposit Validity: Deposits are valid for 90 days. If no appointment is scheduled within this period, the deposit will be forfeited. 2. Payment Terms: Full Payment: Full payment is required before or at the time of your first session. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Installment Plans: For certain packages or memberships, installment payments may be available upon request. Installment plans must be arranged at the time of purchase. If payments are missed, access to treatments may be suspended until the balance is cleared. Late Payments: A 5% late fee will be charged for payments more than 7 days late. After 30 days of non-payment, the package or membership may be canceled without a refund. Payment Method: Card on file is required for booking online to secure payment and session. 3. Cancellations and No-Shows: 24-Hour Cancellation Policy: Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to provide this notice will result in forfeiture of the session or a $25 late cancellation fee. No-Shows: If you do not show up for your appointment without prior notice, the session will be considered used, and no refunds or make-ups will be granted. Emergency Cancellations: We understand that emergencies happen. If you must cancel last minute due to an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your options. By purchasing a service or treatment from us, you will be added to a private group related to that service. These service-specific groups are tailored to clients who have received the same treatment, offering a community for ongoing support, tips, and insights.
