Promoters claim that ear candling is an ancient treatment that originated in Egypt, Tibet, China, or the Americas. It is uncertain the exact location of the invention. The warm "suction" is believed to remove earwax, improve hearing, and treat conditions like sinus infections and colds. For most, this is a relaxing experience. You can hear popping, mostly a gentle hiss will be heard. This technique draws impurities from the body but can also help with tension and clogged areas in the nasal cavity. This method of Earwax removal by years of practice, our testing, and research at BBSJ has proven effective and is a non-invasive natural treatment to get the job done with as little hassle, pain, and injury as possible. There will be a powdery residue from the candle. Approximately 10% is candle residue. Laboratory analysis has shown that residue removed from the ear consisted of earwax, residuals from past infections, fungus, bacteria, yeast/Candida, ear mites, worms, parasites, and/or hair. The darker the earwax, the older it is, and the more debris it carries. Items used are 4 hollow wax candles, a bowl, towels/paper towels, and earwax removal tools. We also provide relaxing music on the soundbar, dim lights and candles for ambiance, a diffuser with your favorite EsScent or choice of one essential oil, and herbal tea and/or water to loosen the nerves and keep well hydrated. Fire protection is used for all tools, items, and over the client. Cancellation Policy
Deposit Terms (if applicable): Non-Refundable Deposit: A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for treatment packages or memberships. This deposit secures your package or membership and is non-refundable. Rescheduling/Cancellation: If you need to reschedule, you must provide 24 hours' notice. If proper notice is not provided, the deposit may be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required for future bookings. Deposit Validity: Deposits are valid for 90 days. If no appointment is scheduled within this period, the deposit will be forfeited. 4. Payment Terms: Full Payment: Full payment is required before or at the time of your first session. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Installment Plans: For certain packages or memberships, installment payments may be available upon request. Installment plans must be arranged at the time of purchase. If payments are missed, access to treatments may be suspended until the balance is cleared. Late Payments: A 5% late fee will be charged for payments more than 7 days late. After 30 days of non-payment, the package or membership may be canceled without a refund. 5. Cancellations and No-Shows: 24-Hour Cancellation Policy: Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to provide this notice will result in forfeiture of the session or a $25 late cancellation fee. No-Shows: If you do not show up for your appointment without prior notice, the session will be considered used, and no refunds or make-ups will be granted. Emergency Cancellations: We understand that emergencies happen. If you must cancel last minute due to an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your options. By purchasing a service or treatment from us, you will be added to a private group related to that service. These service-specific groups are tailored to clients who have received the same treatment, offering a community for ongoing support, tips, and insights.
